During my thesis year at Emerson College, I served as the Editor-in-Chief for the Popular Fiction Writing & Publishing MFA program’s genre fiction publication, Page Turner Magazine.
In that year, my team:
Updated the magazine’s print layout and online presence
Included PTM’s first original interior illustrations
Added a Diversity & Equity section to encourage discussion on systemic bias and barriers in how fiction is read, written, and published
Managed PTM’s first national distribution on commercial platforms

The PopFic Collective
After I earned my MFA in Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing from Emerson College in 2024, I founded and led The PopFic Collective to maintain and grow the community of creatives that I loved. The PFC is a writer’s group built on mutual support and continued education. We love learning anything related to writing, from the history of genre fiction to key strategies for marketing an authorial brand, and we want each other to succeed. That’s our whole ideology.
During our first year, we organized over a dozen free online events, each guest-led by authors, educators, and publishing industry experts.
